Just Because They Do It In Flanders, That Doesn't Mean It's OK
Apparently putting up crosses to memorialize the dead is disrespectful to those who have died for their country. Who knew?

People don't want the war to intrude on their insulated existence. When people have to confront the realities of war, and the human costs, it's troubling. And it should be.
One guy called the display despicable and morally bankrupt. No sir, the "Support the Troops" bumper sticker on your Hummer that gets 12 mpg - that's despicable.
i believe that it's OK and honorable to put up the crosses and put a bumper sticker on one's car. it's a free country.
