Come on, come on...

Al Gore hasn't ruled out a Presidential run in 2008.

"I am not planning to run for president again," Gore said last week, arguing that his focus is raising public awareness about global warming and its dire effects. Then, he added: "I haven't completely ruled it out."

How's this for a bonus: he could formally announce his candidacy while accepting the Oscar for best documentary.

Gore/Feingold '08!

al gore has about as much chance of winning a future presidential election as john kennedy does. i wish i had gore over my house to help me battle my insomnia.

I think Clinton*/Gore would be a pretty sweet '08 ticket - if only to make the other side twitch a little.

*Hillary.

gore only looks good on paper. every time i see an interview with him, he still has that smarmy dorky vibe coming off him in waves. and i cringe. no more nominating milktoasty candidates. obama/webb '08!

(i'm kidding about webb, but i'm curious about the obama bandwagon)

Oh, Newt! Those brown eyes, sterling silver hair, God I would love eight years of this man! And Callista Bisek, cowboy up!

I used to think Gore was wooden, and a little condescending. (Still better than the current Pres, who manages to sound condescending and unintelligent at the same time.)

I just don't get that vibe anymore. He's smart, he's experienced, and he's been consistent and right about Iraq and the environment. I think if he can stay out of the grasp of the inside-the-beltway campaign hacks, and doesn't get toned down, he has a message that will resonate.

i agree gore has a great message, he looks great on paper. i just think he still sounds wooden and a little condescending. i wish it didn't matter, but i'm just not sold that he's changed into a better mass communicator. although i suppose if you're up for an oscar for a film, you've certainly proven some ability to communicate. so perhaps i'm being too tough on him.

but still...lockbox! lockbox!

I'm all about Gore/Feingold or Gore/Obama.

I mean, the guy won once. Why can't he win again? Especially now that there's some major buyer's remorse going on with the voters of this country.
